Immunization

CHO Maibam Ranita Devi & CHO Anna Gracy, explained importance about Immunization.

A task wich is very crucial to achieve not less than hundred Percent %, everyone is very enthusiastic to know what is the task exactly it means !
Don't get tensed it's nothing but a Immunization...
Immunization is the process of giving a vaccine to a person to protect them against disease. Immunity (protection) by immunization is similar to the immunity a person would get from disease, but instead of getting the disease you get a vaccine. This is what makes vaccines such powerful medicine.

So How does vaccines works ?

Take a look, vaccine contain the same germ that causes disease. But the germs in the vaccine have been killed or weakened so that they do not make you sick.

Some vaccines contain only a part of the germ that causes disease. When you get immunized, your body is tricked into thinking that it has been infected with the disease.

So giving vaccine is very easy task ?

Yet despite tremendous progress, far too many people around the world – including nearly 20 million infants each year – have insufficient access to vaccines. In some countries, progress has stalled or even reversed, and there is a real risk that complacency will undermine past achievements.

Global vaccination coverage – the proportion of the world’s children who receive recommended vaccines – has remained the same over the past few years.

So does vaccine help to leave helthy life ?

Yes it's important and helpful to leave
Immunization is a global health and development success story, saving millions of lives every year. Vaccines reduce risks of getting a disease by working with your body’s natural defences to build protection.

What's Passive and active immunization ?

Active immunization.

Active immunization can occur naturally when a person comes in contact with, for example, a microbe. The immune system will eventually create antibodies and other defenses against the microbe.

Passive immunization.

Passive immunization is where pre-synthesized elements of the immune system are transferred to a person so that the body does not need to produce these elements itself. Currently, antibodies can be used for passive immunization.

Let's see what exports say about Immunization in details
